  • 4th             Jazz 1 (John Wayne Airport Concert) personnel to Rehearsal Hall
    • Wardrobe change
    • 1:00 pm – depart for JWA
    • 1:30 pm – arrive JWA and set-up in terminal
    • 2:00 pm – downbeat (anticipate Mabury Ranch and Concert selections)
    • 3:00 pm – performance complete
    • 3:30 pm – depart JWA for VPHS
    • 4:15 pm – Arrive VPHS and load required equipment into trailer

Tuesday, December 17th
  • ZERO            DARK – study for finals
  • 2nd             DARK – final check to make sure all required gear is set to move to OLu
  • 5th             All members move to Orange Lutheran High School to arrive no later than 2:00 pm. Students are on their own to get to OLU no transportation is provided. Tickets are on sale now before zero period. Tickets are going fast due to Serrano Elementary joining us this year. Once tickets are gone they are gone. Do not wait to get your tickets! We may not have any to sell at the door. Get them today! $10.00 a ticket.
    2:00 pm – ALL members unload trailer and set-up the stage
    2:30 pm – Downbeat on tech rehearsal
    4:30 pm – Hopefully (if rehearsals go well) – students released to go home to change                           wardrobe, eat…
    6:00 pm – Call Time in wardrobe for all members
    6:00 pm – string ensembles members move to performance positions
    6:30 pm – doors open – string ensembles begin playing (in foyer and in the house)
    6:55 pm – All members to places (behind closed curtain)
    7:00 pm – Downbeat on concert
    8:00 pm – Concert complete – all members begin backload to trailer
    8:59 pm – Everything is clear of stage and Nechita Center – loaded in trailer
    9:00 pm – trailer departs for VPHS – all go home…
Wednesday, December 18th
  • ZERO            DARK
  • 2nd             Unload trailer
  • 5th             Unload
  • 6th             Prep Rehearsal Hall for break
  • After School
    • Begin to remove all personal items from VPHS
Thursday, December 19
  • We are dark all day in support of finals
Friday, December 20th
  • 6:00 am         Call Time for Augmented Combo personnel – festive holiday wardrobe
  • 6:30 am         Combo performs at Faculty Breakfast
  • 7:30 am         Combo performance complete – personnel secure to Rehearsal Hall
We are dark the rest of the day in support of finals After School – all personal items have been removed from VPHS (Rehearsal Hall, PAC, Rm. 802, …)  Secure facility for break.
