Approximate general budget expenses for some categories are listed below.  If you would like to see a complete budget breakdown, please come to one of our monthly booster meetings.

 

Transportation (busses to performances, trailer repairs, insurance)           $16,000

Uniform/Instrument/Performance (purchase, rental, repair, music, prep)    $14,000

Supplemental instruction (percussion, guard, leadership, brass, wind)     $11,000

Fundraiser expenses (Car Show, Program Ads)                                      $5,000

Administration (retreat, hospitality, mailings, website, awards, taxes)        $7,200

As you can see, the expenses necessary to run a successful program are quite high.  With budget cutbacks all around us, and minimal funding received from our school/district, we are required as a booster club to raise the vast majority of funds needed to run our program.

INCOME FROM BAND PACK DONATIONS, FUNRAISERS, & CONCERT DONATIONS ARE NEEDED TO MATCH EXPENSES!!

It is important that everyone support their student by participatin in our fundraisers (Spartan Classic, Spring Car Show) and donating their Band Pack as they are able.

We welcome donations of any size to help support our wonderful music programs here at Villa Park.  If you have other family, friends or business owners who enjoy the musical arts, please invite them to our concerts so they can see first hand the quality programs we have here!
