Dear Instrumental Music Parent/s:

We are contacting you today to inform/remind you of the annual per student Band Pack charitable donation needed in order to keep our Program running.  

Unfortunately, the 2013-2014 Pack contributions were the lowest in our Programs history.  We have all felt the impact of the economic state and understand the adjustments made in every household but our Program is desperately in need of financial support in order to continue running at full capacity.  Some events have already been cancelled for the upcoming school year and others at are risk if our financial needs remain unmet.

The fundraisers throughout the year make up a small portion of the budget needs while the Band Packs make up a majority of what is financially necessary to cover transportation, uniform, equipment, etc. needs.  The budget is posted online and available for your review at any time.   

Please take note that while state law does not allow school districts to charge fees to students for many programs, including Instrumental Music, our Program relies mostly on the financial contributions from participating families.  Please know that a donation is not required to participate, and families that choose to contribute may do so at any amount.  However, the suggested $300 donation per student will help sustain our program.  We would also like to emphasize that ANY amount you can contribute will help and is appreciated.  If $300 is simply not possible for you at this time, consider a smaller amount (even $50 from a few families is better than $0 from many).  Donations can be made in any amount, at any time, and as often as you’d like.

Please allow us to continue to provide quality instrumental music opportunities to your student.  Your financial support means a lot to all of us.

For those of you who continue to make your contributions every year – thank you and we appreciate your generosity. As always, all donations are tax deductable.
