(September 11, 2013) Yorba Linda, CA - The East Room at the Nixon Library was filled with American heros from the military and community honoring those who served at ground-zero during the 9/11 attacks, as well as continue to serve in the community today. It was an honor to be among so many of our community who were involved 1st-hand in the 9/11 events, and served in years of turmoil that followed. Today's commemoration was such a tremendous impact to me, hearing history and perspective on 9/11 up to today's current events from our nation's elders and military leaders. All I can say is thanks to all of them and anyone who is in the military or local service -- protecting our nation against evil. May God continue to bless everyone who has served our country in any way, and keep those safe who have sacrificed so much to protect America's freedom.
