VILLA PARK HIGH SCHOOL   Instrumental Music

Instrumental-ClipArt1(October 24, 2013) Villa Park, CA - Fall has arrived and things are cooling-down everywhere --- except for the instrumental music program where the band and singers are absolutely on fire!  If you were not able to attend the Fall Concert this past Thursday, you really missed out on a spectacular performance by the full orchestra, jazz and acapella choirs, as well as new stars taking the stage singing a variety of show tunes.  "That's Entertainment" was definitely the theme on everyone's mind at the beginning and end of the night.  Take a look at the video if you were unable to attend, or just wish to see it over and over and over again:

back2school(September 18, 2013) Villa Park, CA - The VPHS Superband and Cheerleaders welcome parents at the annual "back to school" night.  Parents were greeted with a small taste of the talented musicians that are part of the Instrumental Music program before they visited the campus and teachers.  We are so excited about the 2013-14 year to come, and want to thank everyone for their past and continued support, since none of this would be possible without you.  This year, we have made it easy for anyone to donate to the music program via our PayPal button (right-column of the website).  If you would like to now, please click here and donate today.

9-11-13(September 11, 2013) Yorba Linda, CA - The East Room at the Nixon Library was filled with American heros from the military and community honoring those who served at ground-zero during the 9/11 attacks, as well as continue to serve in the community today.  It was an honor to be among so many of our community who were involved 1st-hand in the 9/11 events, and served in years of turmoil that followed. Today's commemoration was such a tremendous impact to me, hearing history and perspective on 9/11 up to today's current events from our nation's elders and military leaders. All I can say is thanks to all of them and anyone who is in the military or local service -- protecting our nation against evil.  May God continue to bless everyone who has served our country in any way, and keep those safe who have sacrificed so much to protect America's freedom.  Here is the video recording for anyone who was unable to attend, where you can hear Villa Park Instrumental Music and Orange Choir pay musical tribute at various points during the ceremony:
